Feyenoord FIFA 2000 news
My friends at Feyenoord FIFA has made a translation of their english Feyenoord FIFA site, well they made it in their own language *Dutch*. You can find Feyenoord FIFA on another URL (www.cyber-soccer.net/feyenoord) because their host (Cyber-Soccer) are having ISP problems so is Feyenoord FIFA on this URL -feyenoord.cyber-soccer.net- temporary down.

BFA 2001 Patch
Sami, from FIFA-Gamer emailed me the following about a new patch called BFA 2001:
"Matt Morgan and Rob Wagner are working on a new patch called BFA 2001: Borussia Dortmund Fifa Add-On 2000/01. All that is to be done now are the menus. This patch will include:
- BVB 00/01 Home & Away Jersey in Version 1.3
- BVB 00/01 socks and shorts
- Westfalenstadion in G2 format
- Latest Rosters and IGM
- BVB game ball
- New menu and backgrounds
- In-Game popups in Bundesliga style
- Sounds etc.
This patch is a fifagamer exclusive. It is only available for download at www.fifa00.com and bfa.fifagamer.com."

8th (and not the last!) Excellent Track Released for the MRA Mega Patch
As promised, we have the 8th and previously announced last excellent music track for the MRA Mega Patch from RedKola for you today for your enjoyment. The track is entitled "I'll Give You Love", as we decided this would be more relevant for your Fifa gaming experience than "Hammer House of Hip Hop" and is described by RedKola as:
'My first ever Hip Hop attempt....I love Hip hop music and just had to have a go at making one. I have placed it in 'Alternative' Hip Hop as its not rap but, has a very hip hop flava to it with a touch of pop. Im very happy with this Song - I hope you like it too :)'

The Virtual Match - Germany v Austria
We have received the following news from Stefan Münstedt:
After a some heavy discussions about who's the best in football and FIFA-soccer between Germans and Austrians in the forum of German FIFA 2000 Online, we from GFO (German FIFA 2000 Online) are organising the highlight of this issue: The match on the virtual pitch: GERMANY vs. AUSTRIA.
We play with the original national teams. We've set both teams to the same strength with FEd. The modus is like the Davis Cup from Tennis:
- We've 4 single matches and a multiplayer-match (2 players are one team).
- The manager of each team is analysing the registrations and nominates the best registered players for the match.
This is the match of the year in Europe - The Clash of the German brothers - Germany vs Austria! We'll keep you informed, who won which match and which team has won the totalmatch. In the meantime check out the site where they do battle.

In conjunction with the start of the English Premier League, FIFAMLS.COM has decided to release the Fox Sports World Graphics Patch!! For those familiar with Ozzie's Graphics Patch work, you will not be disappointed!! The graphics patch supports the standard 640x480 resolution screen so anything higher will not be viewed correctly. The GP was tested in 3D mode and although it's available in software mode, it was not tested for software mode.

If the excitement of yesterday was not enough, as promised, we have the 7th excellent music track for the MRA Mega Patch from RedKola for you today for your enjoyment. The track is entitled "A Taste of Summer" and is described by RedKola as:

New Patch which solves problem with Euro 2000 Jerseys
Over at Euro2000 Online there are details of a new patch which has been released which has solved the problem of Euro 2000 jersey sleeves. Previously, we saw the left hand sleeve texture appear in both left and right hand sleeves. It made the kits look weird and unrealistic. Now, the problem is solved.
What's in the patch:
- Goalkeeper will wear short-sleeved jersey.
- Left and right sleeves with correct textures in order to put Fairplay in a left hand side and Euro 2000 logo on the right hand side.

The Second FIFA Cup Is Starting Soon
Great news for all of you UK-based FIFA 2000 players! Stephen Lee, the man behind the great success of the first FIFA Cup, has just mailed us to announce that he is preparing to launch the next FIFA Cup competition. Here are the official press release he gave us:
Attention all FIFA 2000 players in the UK! The second FIFA Cup competition will be starting soon. It's a one off knock-out cup competition for all FIFA players in the UK. We're breaking new ground this time with a new structure, more players, and even more PRIZE money! Interesting Article at Soccer Gaming by Drinky

More New Kits from AllSoccer
The collection just keeps growing over at AllSoccer
For FIFA 2000 there are two 2000/2001 club jerseys in 64K format for PSG 2000/2001 home and away.
Also, there is a great long sleeve patch version 2 from Sylvain Cadilhac which enables the players and referee to wear long sleeves jerseys in the game. This makes the game more realistic especially those European competitions.
For your Euro2000 game there is also the final version of the Euro 2000 team kits now.

Latin League Beta Version Patch
Xavier Báez has informed me that he has finally decided to release the Beta Version (contains the PGL full version) of the Latin Leagues patch. The final one (with video) will be out at www.fifamillennium.com later this month. If you want to download the Beta Version of the Latin Leagues patch, you can do so by heading over to Euro-Ball.
He also wants you guys to know that his new website Soccer Access will be opening with tons of features including their very own soccer management game.

MLS News Update (Part 2 of 3)
I have just received the following news about the MLS2000 NA Patch. The new home of this patch has been given. It's new home is now FIFAMLS.COM. The site has not opened yet, but we will inform you as soon as it does along with some important details about the site.
Ozzie has told us one bit of news though, for those interested in creating graphics patch, you will be happy to know that there will be a complete support page for you that will hopefully answer your questions you may have about creating graphics patches and if not, you can post your question in their new support forum!
More news will be given as soon as we receive it.

Some months ago, "FiSpEd" seemed to be the greatest tool ever. In these days, a speech editor for FIFA 2000 is not longer something very special. Tal Bereznitskey has already released such a program and with the FMN Maker you can edit the player comments. BUT with FiSpEd (Fifa Speech Editor) you can edit all comments with every language-version of FIFA 2000.
>From "Great Save!" to "Great Tackling!": You can edit every comment by the main or co-commentator of your FIFA 2000-version! Especially the easy-to-handle program-structure is the brand of FiSpEd: You can edit a description of every comment, which will automaticially be saved. So, you'll find quickly the comments, you're searching for. Chau Le has commissioned Joey Jones to release the program, but Joey is currently not very often on the net. FIFA 2000 Modem League
David Cottage has informed me that he has opened a new FIFA 2000 Modem League. He also says that it is the few, if not the only league which offers prizes to winners and losers. Prizes range from engraved trophies to PC games and money off vouchers at his shop. He believes that due to the introduction of prizes that his league offers people to win that he personally feels that the league will suceed unlike others which is very disapointing indeed. The league needs 30 people to kick off the competition and its starting to fill up quick, so head on over and join by clicking here. The website is not available today, but will be tomorrow.
