UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals Patch @ FIFA Centre Spot

At long, long last, we're getting to the bit of the Champions League which may provide some excitement, and in a fit of kindness, FIFA Centre Spot's roster king Hamdan has announced that he is working on a special commemorative patch containing all the kits, stats, and general FIFA gubbins of all 16 of the remaining sides in the knockout stages. The best part? It could be ready in time for the draw at the end of the week. Yet Another Downloads Update

I honestly don't know where you'll find the time to download all of these files Lior has added today seeing as I'm sure everyone who is anyone is furiously trying to download the SGOCL 2000, but I've decided to list them all anyway.

Here is what you'll find new today in our Downloads section:

SGOCL 2000 - Released!

I just about made it uploading the huge file... The SGOCL 2000 patch is ready to download! Unfortunately, due to complications, no new stadia or turfs have been included :-( but there are plenty around for you guys to add to the patch yourselves ;-)

Now, this file is 15.4MB in size, so you might want to take some weekend time downloading it. The file is at https://fifa2000.net/downloads/patches/SGOCLSetup.exe. So get downloading!

The Sky Sports graphics patch, which we are very grateful to Xavier Baez of FIFA LA for, will be coming soon, and will be released as soon as it is complete. For now, enjoy what is there at the moment, which is:

- Updated rosters
- Complete jerseys for every Champions League side.
- New music ("The Awakening" by York).
- New ball and adboards.
- New menu backgrounds and graphics.
- Addition of many South American and Aussie sides to the game.
- Pit your wits against a Soccer Gaming side! Play against myself, Matt, Ric, Lior, and every other Soccer Gaming character about, as well as everyone who helped with the patch.
- And a lot more extras...!!

Enjoy!!

For now it is only for the English language versions of the game. By this time next week, patches for each language would have been uploaded. You will still have to download this file though, then the patches will be very small files that update the roster files...

FIFA Super League 2000

I just got word passed to me by Hans-Vidar Martens of FIFA 2000 Online Norge, and here's what he said...

Sign Up Today!

The FIFA Super League 2000 will contain 32 teams who will be spread
over 8 groups. The two best teams in each group will qualify to the
next round. The winner of the finale will get a price.
Do you want to join? Just with this information:

* Your full name
* Which team you want to be
* Your age
* Your e-mail address
* And what you use to connect to the net (ISDN, Cable, Modem)

PS: This is a league only for people in Europe.

Sounds great! Although, personally I'd recommend only a 56k modem or higher, as it is played over Heat, and is extremely slow with a modem - I have first-hand experience of that :-(

SGOCL 2000 - Expect it Soon...!!

The SGOCL 2000 has been completed, all that's left for me to do now is to find the time to upload the bugger! It's a whopping great 14.5MB file, but as a deprived young man with only a 33.6k modem and a 2-hour BT Internet cutoff point, I'm having to think up a way to work around these inconveniences (any ideas let know :-)...

So, look out for it later in the week, most likely I'll have to break it down into small parts and upload them separately, which will also let you download them separately, so it's more convenient to you :-)

For the bad news, their site has been hacked again for the third [!] times. Here's what they need to say more about that: They have also managed to put some EURO 2000 materials to the site, and they are going to make a Feyenoord Super Patch in a near time, so be sure to check out their site through this link if you have the time.

    FEd2000 Mishap - My Official Apology

    Well, do I have a bit of explaining to do? First thing I will say is that I completely messed up and my actions were inexcusable. I have no shame in admitting that I have made a huge blunder. I will now try to explain why this happened, and try to make sense of the past few hours. I hope you will see that I am sincerely sorry for what I have done.

    I would like to start off by apologising to anyone involved in the creation of FEd2000 inparticular Joey Jones and Chau Le. The posting of the direct link to download FEd2000 from this site was done in a hurry as I had commitments to attend to on Friday night, and would not have been able to be online to post a link to Joey's Offial FEd2000 site. I completely misunderstood an email that was sent to me earlier in the week containing what I thought was the final version of FEd2000. I was wrong. As you can see by the number of links I had posted to the Official FEd2000 site, I never intended to draw any hits or publicity away from that site.

    I would like to thank the people who defended me last night in the forum. As a number of them stated, why would I (Matt Holme) want to deliberately take anything away from FEd2000 by doing something illegal? I have always supported Chau Le and what ever he has done, and I had absolutely no concerns over the FEd2000 site not being part of Soccer Gaming this year.

    For those of you who visited this site earlier you would have seen the mess it was in. I don't know who did this, but I do not agree with it. However, due to my incredibly bad mistake I made, I will not take any actions into looking into who did it. I'll simply change the passwords to this site.

    I wish I could turn back time and not do what I did. But as we all know this is not possible. All I can say is that I am sorry, and I will make every possible effort to make sure everything is sorted out between the parties involved. If anyone has any questions for me about this, feel free to email me at .

    For now, please use the new links at the top of this page to download the full release copy of FEd2000. If you already have FEd2000 and it is working, please download the latest version again also.

    More news about the fabulous new utility, FEd2000. I've just got words from Xavier BÅ ez of the FIFALA that FEd2000 has been released over at FIFALA, which is the official Spanish FEd2000 site. Beta Version of Latin Graphics Patch

    Xavier Baez of the FIFALA has been kind enough to sent us in a beta version of what could be the next best thing in edited graphics after 64/128 colours kits; Latin Graphics Patch (or PGL, taken from its original name in Latin, Patch Grafico Latino). It modifies the scoreboards, pop-ups, penalty menus, crowds, other in-game graphics and the final version which is optimized for 3D mode will soon be released as a part of the FIFALA Patch (that should hopefully be this weekend). Here are couple of the preview screen shots. You can find more information and a gallery full of screen shots over at this address.

    Now, as far as I can remember, this is the first graphics patch that was introduced to us back then and it was developed by Ariel Santarelli for FIFALA, so if anyone want to use/modify the PGL in their patch, please respect the creator, Ariel Santarelli and the author, FIFALA, and give the credits they certainly deserve. And if you do use it, Xavier expect you to send the final result to him at so it will be included in the latin graphic patch channels.

    Please click here to download the beta version.

    Some Downloads - While We Wait For Fed2000

    It's actually Friday the 17th, 10:33 AM my time (Australian), so if it was up to me, FEd2000 would be sitting on this page ready for you to download. But, as you all know, this year we did not host the FEd2000 official site. So to be fair, I must wait for Joey to post his links up, so that the site can get the hits and publicity it deserves. Therefore, I am positive as soon as his alarm clock rings, he'll be online and posting the link right here on the FEd2000 Official site.
