Fedinator 2000 News

FIFA 2000 Central posted some screen shots from Fedinator 2000 today. Fedinator 2000 is being made by Eric Dysinger who has worked very hard to decode this and get it to us. The release date has not been set but you can expect a good program when it does come out. Currently, Fedinator 2000 supports up to 15 characters for names and much more.

Chau Le is also working on a FIFA 2000 editor which should be out within weeks. Good luck to both of them and their venture to bring us with a FIFA 2000 editor.

FIFA Grass Updated

Shai from FIFA Grass has let me know that his site has been updated with lots of new grass textures for FIFA 2000! =) There are now an outstanding total of 23 grass textures on their site, and I'm quite sure that they are all worth to download. There are some amusing and really cool grass, such as an 'earthquake' grass, chess grass, carpet grass, snow grass, and of course, the latest and ultimate; REAL GRASS TEXTURE 3D. Oh, and he also provide non-3Dfx grass textures version, so don't just read this news flash, folks... Go there now! =)

Chris Davies, the master mind behind the spectacular Patch of the Day has let me know some updates about his official Patch of the Day site that is coming soon right here, at FIFA 2000 Online. He has told me that there will be some great updates for the patch itself released sometime in the new year, that will update crowd chants, new menu screens (they are taken from the actual Match of the Day TV show!), Division One\Two\Three stadiums, new photo-realistic player faces, and there might even be new player numbers! He is expecting to release these updates on his new site somewhere in late January, so just stay tuned and hold on, guys! =)

Libertadores Super Patch 2000

Amadeu Borda from FIFA 2000 Central Brasil has kindly asked me to let you all know that they are currently in the making of a Libertadores Super Patch 2000 which will features all of the first and second division teams of the Brazilian league (even comes complete with official kits), some of the third division teams in the Brazilian league, complete Argentinian league, some other Latin American teams, and even a new replay logo for the famous sports channel in Brazil, SPORTV. Unfortunately, to add those leagues to the game, it will have to replace some of the current leagues that is in FIFA 2000, such as Spanish, Danish, and English leagues. The Libertadores Cup itself will even overwrite the European's Champions Cup. =( But then again, I'm quite sure that Brazilian fans would be very happy with the patch. =)

Amadeu has also sent me some screen shots as well. Feel free to take a look for yourself below, guys!

Submit Your Idea!

Well, since the current poll have certainly show that most of the people would like to have a UEFA Champions League Soccer 2000 patch (formerly known as the Soccer Gaming Online Champions League 2000 patch), I'm planning to replace the poll with a new content.

Now, I do have some good questions in mind, but a poll should be interactive, right? And that's why I think you all should take a part in this. Please feel free to suggest your fun and interesting question to me by either posting comments by the link below, or by e-mailing to . Thanks! =)

New 64 Colour Kit Tutorial!

To fulfill your apetite for a more detailed and thorough explanation about how to make your own 64 colours kit, I have just uploaded a new tutorial to suit that. I have convert the original Word document to a HTML format, so you can read an online version of it or you can get the ZIP file which contain the original Word document itself and all of the supporting files for this tutorial.

This great tutorial have been submitted to me by Simon Shepherd, and was made specifically for Adobe Photoshop users. However, other graphics editor such as Paint Shop Pro should be able to do just that. You just have to find the right tools in your own graphics editor. Thanks for the contribution, Simon! I'm sure this will be very useful for all of the FIFA kits maker. =)

Remember, if you had any tutorial that you think will be useful for all of the FIFA editors out there, please feel free to and we would be more than glad to publish it. Full credit will be given, as always. Thanks. =)

FIFA Latinamérica 2000 Updates

The main man over at FIFA LA and a buddy of mine, Xavier Báez, has kindly let me know some very valuable updates about the FIFA Latinamérica 2000 patch. He has told me that Ariel Santarelli (the guy who will make the Latin Graphics Patch - LGP) has teamed up with them over there, and they are really looking forward to give the best out of this patch. He has also let me know that he has posted news about new and upcoming leagues from their network, such as: So, if you are a great fans of one of the above leagues, I suggest you head on over to FIFA LA right now to pick up the rest pieces of news. =)

FIFA Latinamérica 2000Along with all of the decent news bite, he has also sent me some fabulous screen shots that shows us some of the great features that will be included in this patch. You should see one of them in the right of this text, and the rest below. The one on the right even shows us that most of the environment have been edited neatly. Here's another list that tells you what's hot in this shot:

A couple of the shots above are taken from the Argentinian Graphics Patch (which are very awesome with all of those new sponsors!), while the shot in the middle of them is an example 64 colours kit for the Ecuador champion, LDU Quito. New FEd2000 Screen Shot!

FEd2000 Team PageAlright! Chau Le has gave us another Christmas gift, folks! =D This time he has left a message back in our FIFA 2000 Forum, and attached with it is a new screen shot of the FEd2000. It shows the team page, and in the screen shot you should notice a big improvement from the previous FEd; that we will be able to edit Team Management data such as formation and strategy (attacking and defending style, passing preference, etc.). Woohoo! Thanks, Chau! =D

Chau has also wrote that we WILL be able to edit player's height and build (weight, probably?), we MIGHT be able to add new players and teams to the database, and there's also a strong POSIBBILITY that we will be able to have up to 64 stadiums in the game. (WOW!) =D But unfortunately, with all of the hype, he has told us that we still CAN'T add new leagues... =(

And above all, he would also like to wish Merry Christmas to you all. =)

Christmas Present: Patch Of the Day

I have just been informed by Chris Davies, that at this very moment, the Patch Of The Day (ESP 2000) is ready to be downloaded here. The complete installation file is 14.1 MB and contains the complete first version of the incredible English League add-on, Patch Of The Day.

Due to the fact that this news is so "hot off the press", we're unable to provide you with screen shots, and all the info on the patch. However, I can tell you that includes nearly everything the original ESP (FIFA 99 version) included. Such as all the teams and players (including correct numbers) of the English Premiere League as well as Division 1, 2 and 3.

We'll be posting a lot more information about Patch Of The Day as soon as it comes to hand. But for now, make sure you get your hands on it as soon as possible. You won't be disapointed.

Well I spoke to Chris Davies earlier, and I've arranged for a direcory to be created that he is planning to upload the Patch of the Day (ESP 2000) to. But, as usual, I stress that this release date will more than likely change... so keep visiting to get the latest news.

Dortmund's 64 Colours Kit Preview

Borussia Dortmund 64 Colours KitAha! My eyes have just spotted a new mail in my mailbox from the man who have created a series of magnificent 64 colours kit, Nick Kojucharov. Game Of The Millennium

John Houlihan from GameSpot UK has let me know that they have started their countdown for their massive holiday feature on the Top 100 Games of the Millennium. They take a look at where they rate and review what they think are the most important, influential and just downright brilliant games of the past 30 odd years.

Controversial? Possibly...

Will your favorites be there? Should they be higher, lower or even somewhere in between? Well don’t worry, because they’re going to use this feature to launch their inaugural GameSpot UK Readers’ Games of the Millennium where there will be ample chance to vote for your own personal favorites and a chance to chat and swap opinions in the online forum. Based on reader’s votes, the winning games will each receive a special award and a chance to proudly display the Game of the Millennium logo, but most importantly the readers will decide once and for all which is the best Game of the past Millennium.

You all can take a part in this fun event by going to this URL.

Think hard, think long, have your vote, have your say and above all, have fun! =D

Merry Christmas...

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The CD’s were loaded in PC’s with care,
In hopes that Chau Le soon would be there;

The gamers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of better fifa games danced in their heads;
And my wife in her undies, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap;

When out in the living room there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter;
Away to the computer I flew like a flash,
Tore open my email and hoped it would not crash;

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,
Came shinning through the window on my keyboard below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a screenshot from Chau Le, yes it’s FEd2000 my dear!

His editor’s are so easy, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment that this would do the trick;
Then a loud crash from within the chimney it came,
And he winked at me, whistled and called me by name;

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;
Now Ric, he said, look here, it is not quite ready,
I’m working on it hard, my time I’m spending plenty;

Don’t ask me how soon, I’m not quite yet sure, But I can tell you this, when it’s ready, it’ll have the cure;
All your changes will be easy to make, that I do know,
So let me get back to work, it’s on with the show;

He spoke not another word, but went straight to his work,
making an editor, then turned with a jerk;
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle;
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!"

They all sound quality so why not d/l them?!

Now, what I'm going to do is to turn on my ICQ, check if he and the rest of the gang are still online, and have a little chat with them before I go to bed.

I'm very sorry folks, but I'm very tired after a day full of journey, so the regular news entries that I usually do just have to wait for a day. =( But don't worry guys, rest assure that I'll be back tomorrow with plenty of exciting updates! =)

I'll see you all later, guys! =)

Run the Downloads Section!

Want to run the Downloads section of the most popular FIFA 2000 site on the net?

Well as you all may have heard, Lior, the webmaster of the Downloads, is away for 3 weeks. I had planned to get Behrang to do the Downloads in Lior's absence, but he's busy enough with the news updating.

Therefore I am looking for someone who's really interested, and who has a lot of time spare to for the position. I know a lot of people have applied for various jobs at this site. I thank you all for applying. If I do not email you back, I'm affraid you're simply not who I am looking for.

So please, if you are good with HTML and know you can keep the Downloads at the same standard it is in now, please .

Last Words

Like Matt said I'm now leaving FIFA 2000 Online. Why? -I'm sure many of you want an answer on that question, but here are my reasons:
* I have gone tired of FIFA 2000. I want to write and wait for another game.
* I don't think I'm doing the job properly. Just see on december month. What have I done in this month?
* I really like to have more control of a site. I don't feel that I fit into a postion which I am currently in. It's better to work on a site that you have created by yourself from the ground. Gives you more adrenaline to your work and pulls out the best of you. You always compete with other sites. This is just like I did with the previous FIFA 2000 Network.
* I want vacation! I have been working hard the last year with different web sites. I now want some months vacation.

I would like to thank Matt for offering me this job, Mike, Ric and Lior. Working on FIFA 2000 Online has given me more experience in how things work on a large site.

(People who have sent their files to me, please send them in again to .

Kristoffer - signing out!

Downloads Time

Lior added a rather large amount of files to the Downloads section today. Thanx to everyone who sent in their files yesterday.

Posted by Post Your Comments (0)

I'm Being Deserted! ;-)

Well... it seems everyone is taking a break around Christmas time. I'm sure a lot of you have looked at the amount of staff here at FIFA 2000 Online and wondered why we haven't been swamping you all with news and downloads. I'll try to explain why.

1. It is very hard to post "a lot" of news when "a lot" of news does not exist. We post as much news as possible, and if you compare our news posts to other FIFA 2000 sites I'm sure you'll agree we are just as active.
2. Nicky has disapeared. He's been offline now for a couple of months. To say I'm disappointed in him would be an understatement.
3. Mike has been away. Mike is our best updater.
4. Kris took what was meant to be a short break from updating the Downloads section. However, yesterday he informed me that he would be taking a much longer break and would prefer not to continue on in the FIFA 2000 scene. I'd like to thank Kris for his time and effort he put in while he was with us.
5. Lior today informed me that he'll be taking a holiday to Israel for 3 weeks, but will be back.

It's not all bad news. Behrang has agreed to take over maintaining the Downloads while Lior is away, and Mike will be back in town today. I have a lot more time now, so I can do a few updates too.

If you're interested in working for this site, and if you're qualified and motivated enough, I'm sure I can find a position for you.

Millennium Season Patch

One of the first big patches designed for FIFA 2000 was released earlier today. The Millennium Patch 2000 was developed by a mate of mine, Richard Butler. You can download the main setup file here, with a music add-on being uploaded tomorrow. Below is a list of exactly what the Millenium Season Patch includes (taken from the readme.txt):

- Globally updated rosters, detailed modifications of the English League.

- Adds the Australian League (Ericsson Cup) and the Argentine League with correct team details, player initials, etc.

- Adds all players excluded from the game, such as Silvestre, Seedorf, Trezeguet, Carbone, Santa Cruz, and many more.

- Adds some Rest of the World teams and overwrites Arab teams:

- Alianza Lima (Peru)
- Colo Colo (Chile)
- Emelec (Ecuador)

- Adds Galatasaray to the Turkish League.

- Adds a Mitre Fluo Flare - the yellow ball used in the English lower leagues and has recently been experimented with in the Premiership - a great looking ball!

- Adds two new tracks to the FIFA sound library:

- One Thousand Trees - Stereophonics (Practically no-one's heard
this but trust me, you'll love it!)

- LA - Marc et Claude (Probably haven't heard this either - a classic clubbers' tune remixed by me! :)

- If you think you are a supremo at FIFA, then test your playing skills to the limit against our very own Cyber Soccer XI, complete with a killer Cyber Soccer jersey!

- Adds new menu backgrounds and replaces flags with new league animations.

Well, first of all, I would like to say I'm very sorry, but since I haven't visited my grandparents lately, and they surely deserved and miss my visit, I will be visiting my grandparents who live out of town. I will be away starting from tomorrow, and I should be back on December 21st.

But you shouldn't be worrying guys! Andy from FIFA 99 Online has kindly decided to lend us a hand down here to update this site during my absence. And if everything goes right on track, we should also have a new guy around here who will help us to update this site. We are expecting him to make his debut here in the next couple of days. Geez, man... Now I'm sure that when I got back home, I would miss a lot of great news! =(

Okay then, until we meet again, folks! =)

P.S. - I will try to post as much updates as posibble before I go, before Andy come and have all the fun. ;) Happy updating, Andy! =)

Greek Super Patch 2000 Updates

Kostas Kyriopoulos from the GSP (Greek Super Patch) 2000 team has been kind enough to told me the latest updates about GSP 2000. He has told me that all of the kits for the Greek Premiership are nearly accomplished, and you can start downloading part of them from Greek Tournaments.

To know what will this great patch have in it, I have managed to get couple of set of questions and answers from George and Kostas themselves.

Q: What will this patch give us?
A: Well it's going to have the following:
" Home and away jerseys for all the Greek Premiership and Champions League teams.
" Name brand shorts for each team.
" New referee jerseys, ball and Greek ad boards.
" Full name roster updates for all the teams not only Greek.
" Full names of all teams, for example Ionikos Nikeas instead of just Ionikos.
" New menu backgrounds that will be Greek-oriented.

Q: How about the release date?
A: Well that depends on a lot of things. George, the webmaster of Greek Tournaments and I (Kostas) can only do this at some rate. We need all your help, and everyone is welcome to give a hand. So if you think you can help out with one of the above we would love it, so contact either or and we'll get things done faster and you will be given full credit as a team member.

It's Only Us Video!

Ups, sorry folks, I forgot to post this yesterday because I'm very tired back then. Okay then, to make it up, here it goes now:

Cyber RobbieYesterday, thanks to MTV Fresh, one of MTV Asia shows, I saw the official anthem of FIFA 2000, "It's Only Us" by Robbie Williams, making its first dayview on video land. And it's true guys, this cool video features some FIFA 2000 moves and action in it. It even uses the Cyber-Rob character in it! =)

Patch Of The Day Legal ScreenOh, and just for some quick information, you can find the song either in his latest album called "The Ego Has Landed" or in the new FIFA 2000 Music Album (which is only available in Europe continent).

Now, I'm quite sure that many of you have watched the cool video too, but for those who haven't, you're lucky, mates! I have found a video clip that shows part of the "It's Only Us" video. But I have to tell you something, guys... the bad side about this clip is that it doesn't include any FIFA 2000 actions in this scene. But still, it is a good video to watch. Go and check it out now by clicking here! =)

Patch Of The Day Almost Here!

Patch Of The Day Legal ScreenChris Davies, the main man behind Patch of the Day (formerly known as E.S.P. 2000) has kindly asked us to let you all know the Patch of the Day, is going to be really huge with all new menus, new 64 colors G-unlimited jerseys, new 100% accurate Mitre Premiership\Nationwide League ball, new classic English teams, new Nationwide League Division One and eight teams from Division Two (later on a patch will be released with MORE), new turfs, new stadiums, and with Tal Bereznitskey helping, they’ll get up to 64 kits working at the same time instead of 50, edit .DBI files so league names and the like can and WILL be updated, and much, much more. Oh yeah, new flags, new menu text, new logos, new misc., graphics everywhere, etc.

Patch Of The Day Title ScreenThere is a topic in the FIFA 2000 Forum which Chris REALLY NEEDS people to reply to, stating which teams in the English league in past years are really classic teams deserving to go into the patch, and why, including the team name and a team sheet of players for that classic team. Chris would like 20 at least (but might keep England 1966), all different teams, none the same (e.g. Man. U. 88 and Liverpool 88 is okay, but Liverpool 88 and Liverpool 91 are both the same team, and so only the best team out of the two different years would go in). You can get to the forum topic by clicking here.

Patch Of The Day Menu ScreenYeah folks! Looks like it's really coming home, the Patch of the Day, following the success of its predecessor, the original E.S.P. (back in 99). It's back, bigger and better than ever! Stay tuned for latest updates, guys!

Kostas Kyriopoulos has just informed me that he and the rest of the team from Greek Tournaments are currently in the making of a Greek Patch, and he has already completed half of the kits and the shorts, which you can download separately from the Greek Tournaments. He has also told me that he is expecting this patch to be completed in about a month. Here are some screen shots he sent me along:

Noticed something different? Yup, that's right... the shorts! As you can see on the screen shots above, the unique thing about this patch is that they have packed accurate shorts in it (such as OFI's simple triple stripe Adidas short, AEK Athens' Kappa short, and even Aris Salonika's Puma short). Wow! Now that's something. =)

And remember to check out the Greek Tournaments site because some files may have been already published separately there. Oh, and for those of you who was wondering... yes, this is a Greek oriented site indeed, but it is in English, so you shouldn't find any difficulties browsing there.
