FIFA LA
Xavier from the fifala network sent me news about Ligas Latinas 2000, the beta version of the FIFALA 2000 patch.
Xavier is not sure when will this patch be released
the patch is almost ready, but Xavier is working on it, he will determine what teams will the patch bring.
Until now, the features of the patch are:
- Complete Leagues from: Argentina, Brazil (brasileirao, 20+ teams with second division), Uruguay, Ecuador, Copa Libertadores, Mexico, Club World Championship
- 64 kits (including generic kits, they help remove the kit clashing in all the teams)
- 128 and 64 color kits
- New edited turfs and in game graphics
- The complete Latin Graphics Patch with the default channel Fox Sports. Also other channels will be available, at the moment the SportTV channel will be included.
- Renamed leagues, complete compatibility with English, Spanish and Portuguese languages, with three different setup programs
- New menu program that will modify all the feart folder with the FIFALA menus, and also the favorite team Title menus (like América, Palmeiras, Vasco, Chivas, River plate, Boca..)
- 15 stadiums (including san siro, the beautiful ajax stadium, also Juventus excellent stadium, marcana, marcana with flamengo crowd, monumental from river plate, morumbi..) some of this are hexedited stadia and animated flags
- And one of the best things of the patch: Global changes
finally FIFa2000 is tougher than before, the defense is better, the goalkeeper less exagerated, and the speed of all the players is much more realistic now
- Real player faces, also real teams chants during the game
- New FifaLA music
- New player numbers
- Real Libertadores Cup that you receive in the game when you win a championship
- And maybe a fifala installer will be built, that program will test the free servers and then it will decide wich server to download from (to be confirmed, it may not be available in all the supported languages)
Sounds good, and with the SGOCL 2000 also coming out soon, it looks like we'll all have to get FIFA MRA and Chico up and running. :-)

My Two Cents and Some Cool Stadiums
Stadiums first. I was over at Euro-Ball today and realised that I hadn't told everyone here that they have uploaded heaps of really cool new stadiums. There are screen shots of them all of over their main page. Give it a look.
Now to the new design. I personally love it (ofcourse he would you all say). I'm wrapped at the way Rich has put it together as I was certainly growing tired of the old unprofessional looking FIFA 2000 Online. If you agree or disagree with me, which according to the comments posted in Rich's posts early, a few of you do coincide with the latter, then please post your points of view in the Forum&number=2&DaysPrune=10&LastLogin=">Forum. I've set up a special topic for it.

New FEd2000 Screen Shots and Info
Joey over at FIFA Centre Spot has let me know he's uploaded 12 new screen shots of FEd 2000 to the Official FEd2000 Site.
He has also added some awesome news about the latest feature in FEd2000, Audio File Editing! Here it is:
But biggest news of all is that FEd2000 will allow you to edit the audio for players! Yes, you can add new player name commentary so that players' names are announced in FIFA 2000! The guys at Fifamania (who host the Italian FEd2000 site) are making a plug-in for FEd2000 so that you can create your own audio files which you can add to the player commentary file using FEd2000.
This means you can put you own voice in FIFA 2000. Personally I am looking forard to hearing everyone have a go at commentary when patches created with FEd2000 begin to feature on this site.

FEd2000: The Latest
Some interesting stories and screen shots have been posted today about Chau Le's FEd2000. Over at the The Official FEd2000 Site theres a small piece of positive news about the Import/Export feature of FEd2000.
The most exciting news though comes from the Official Italian FEd2000 Site where they've posted a number of very cool and detailed screen shots from FEd2000. The best looking and most exciting in my opinion is the one to the right of this text. In FEd2000 players can have a real photo next to their stats. Now that is cool!
Stay tuned to this site for all the latest news on FEd2000, and be sure to post your questions or comments in the FIFA 2000 Forum. As you can see, this year, we aren't hosting the Official FEd site. Please do not be fooled, we are still 110% behind this program. However, due to the effort Joey Jones at http://www.fifacentrespot.de has put into FEd2000, Chau gave him permission to host the official site. I totally agree with Chau and I am sure Joey will provide you all with a very up to date FEd2000 site.

The great guys from the NitroSoftteam has kindly let me know that they have started to work on a newer version of Jersey 2000 (oh, and just in case you don't know what that is, it's a small utility that lets you create and manage your FIFA 2000 kits; it's already available over at NitroSoft.net).
And in order to create a better and enchanced version of it, they are looking for a way to extract FSH files using Visual Basic. Those who who know how this can be done please notify Naresh Suthan at the e-mail address of [email protected]. Good luck, you all!

In April the newest game from EA sports is in the house. In Euro 2000 you can play all the phases of the championship from the qualification up to the final round with all European teams on your monitor - with the exclusive Euro-2000-License and original stages in Holland and Belgium.

MLS Patch
I got an email from Eizzo today. He is developing an MLS Patch and had this to say:
The MLS2000 Patch web site is open with information and pictures of the patch. The patch is around 10 mb large, so it will be released from here in March, right before the MLS season so it can be as accurate as possible. I also have two excellent tutorials, one on 64color kit and the other on stadium editing at this site.
Check out the MLS2000 Patch website at http://mls2000_patch.tripod.com/
Also expect some very cool jerseys and adboards from the MLS Patch to be posted in our Downloads section as soon as Lior receives them from Eizzo.

New Poll Question
Lior did me a favour and updated our Poll question for me earlier. Our new question is similar to what EA are asking at http://www.fifa2000.com.
Are you happy with the current size of the field in FIFA 2000?, is our current question.
Make sure you vote today. This is your chance to finally see a bigger pitch in FIFA 2001.
